The city of Oakland is experiencing an urban development of the downtown area. Its influx of young business professionals, contributes to its developmental growth. Therefore, It has become a city which accommodates new constructions and startups which make it best suited for a boutique hotel.

Furthermore, it’s an eight-storey, mixed-use 11,000 square feet building commissioned by the Hotel Group International which propose a feasible design adaptable to the growth of Oakland’s neighbourhood. 

The hotel aims to satisfy the needs of professionals, artists, and locals, while providing a luxurious environment for its international guests.

A building developed along the principle of a “Spotlight” can have a magnetic effect to the reputation of  downtown Oakland as it draws upon its community as the core inspiration for its design features.

Located at 1540 Broadway, the boutique hotel includes a two level basement for the back-of-house, additional two levels dedicated to amenities & service areas, four levels of hotel suites a rooftop gym, sky bar, garden and lounge. All amenities aiming to present, promote, and provide the engagement of educating its visitors of Oakland’s history.
